Fresh, organic fruit and veg market stalls!

Today, my mum and I visited a fresh fruit a veg stall near our home to get some produce and I just thought I'd share these wonderful images with you!

From this fresh, organic produce you can really taste the difference. You may be able to see that the strawberry punnets are full of loads of tiny little juicy strawberries but you can rest assured that they're not GM or full of other nasties!

People are put off of buying fresh fruit and vegetables from markets because they assume that it'll be overpriced, but that certainly isn't always the case. The second picture on the top shows that we bought 6 bananas, 3 large peppers, a large bag of tomatoes, a large bag of mushrooms, a large bag of grapes, a medium bag of cherries, a medium pot of blueberries and quite a large pot of strawberries and all of this was for exactly £10! Which not only is exceptional value for such high quality, organic produce, but is actually probably even cheaper than the supermarket's high-treated fruit and veg!

When I got home I made the most delicious snack with some of the fruits that we'd purchased, as you can see above. It was sliced banana, a handful of blueberries and two cherries drizzled with honey and some sunflower seeds. It was heaven!

So if there's a market near you, definitely go and check it out and stock up on fruit and veggies!
