Busy weekend - outfits, purchases and exercise!
So I haven't really posted this weekend - sorry! But I've been super busy all weekend doing various bits and bobs! But there are new meals, products and other things to tell you all about, so keep posted for all of that!
On Friday I did a lot of grocery shopping as you might have seen in Friday's post (I actually went to 4 supermarkets over the course of the day)... But I do love food shopping! In the evening I went to play an hour of badminton with my partner, Philip. After that we took the dog, Pippa for an hour walk. I also made a Mediterranean Quorn sausage dish, the recipe for which you can expect soon!
On Saturday I woke up and went for a little 2.22 mile run as my first run in quite a while, but I've decided to get back into running, so there should be some updates on that soon too! Then myself and Philip went to the centre of town to do some banking and run other errands. But I did manage to find a Holland & Barrett! So I bought a bag full of goodies which you can also expect to hear about soon! Then in the evening, family were visiting so it was tapas food all round (tapas food is the best)!
On Sunday, I woke up and took Pippa for a walk/run - it was kind of running for a few minutes and then walking for a few minutes because she's only a little Bichon frisé and gets quite tired. After that, I went to a family baby shower (my first baby shower) (you can see my outfit above) and that was really lovely. Seeing the family was really nice, and the food was really great, and there was lots of pescetarian food for me to eat like (my favourite) hummus and carrot sticks and salmon sandwiches, as well as fruity dessert treats which you can see at the top of this page. But it didn't stop there - I got straight home and then went to the cinema with Philip and his family to see the new Rise of the Planet of the Apes film which was also brilliant!
So anyway, there's the run-down of my busy weekend and why I haven't posted much! But there's plenty to tell you about in upcoming posts, so keep posted! :)
