Ecotools make-up brushes!

Hello peoples! So I needed some new makeup brushes. As in I had enough and just threw all of mine out because I wanted to start over! So what I was looking for was a set, instead of several very overpriced individual brushes totalling £100. And then I found these wonderful brushes in Boots.

I had heard of Ecotools before and the box allowed me to feel the brushes before I bought them. They were wonderfully soft and I actually love the wooden design with the pretty patterns on. So I think this set was around £15, which is crazy, right?

As it turns out, these brushes are actually great. In the set you get a buffing concealer brush, a flat concealer brush, a precision foundation brush for contouring, a full face powder brush and a complexion blending brush. At first I saw this as a kind of 'minis' set, but actually I find the short brushes a lot easier to use and control - like paint brushes I guess! I use the buffing brush to buff any concealer applied to any blemishes and the flat brush for any eye cream applied under the eye and they both work perfectly. Honestly, I've learnt that a good concealer will never do you any justice applied with a bad brush. The foundation and complexion brushes are also great and the blending brush does such a good job of blending in the different tones and contouring. I for sure, will be completing the set of these brushes with blusher brushes and eye brushes, etc.

I would definitely recommend these brushes, especially to those of you that want some good brushes to compliment your make-up but don't want to pay top dollar for just one brush alone, never mind the set. I also think this would make a really good gift.
