Strawberry and vanilla iced tea!
So this is another find from my mini Holland and Barrett haul just over a week ago! I bought a couple of different teas, but this one is quite interesting so I thought I'd talk about this one first!
So after trying quite a couple of berry teas, I've discovered that unfortunately I'm not really a fan.. However! I didn't want to waste this tea so I decided to make some iced tea with it.
I made the tea as you would normally with boiling water and added two teaspoons of honey. I then put the mug of hot tea into the freezer for about 45 minutes (as boiling water actually chills and freezes quicker than cold)! After 45 minutes I added some ice and served up. To my surprise it was actually wonderful. It's so sweet and tastes like a shop-bought iced tea. Except shop-bought iced teas often contain absolutely loads of added sugar and sweetener, but this really doesn't need it! Some natural honey is more than enough to make this super sweet and tasty.
For on-the-go iced tea, try making a large jug of tea with 3-4 tea bags and 6-8 teaspoons of honey, pour the chilled tea into plastic bottles and have your own, home-made, super healthy and cheap iced tea! You can get this exact tea from Holland and Barrett for less than £2 or very similar fruity teas from your supermarkets!
I hope you like this recipe idea and please don't forget to leave your comments below! :-)
